Kochōmon Rock Arch (Echizen Coast)
Kochōmon is a natural sea arch on Fukui’s Echizen Coast, carved over centuries by wind and waves. Rising about 15 meters high and 30 meters wide, it once served as a natural tunnel for the coastal road. The arch is a striking reminder of the power of nature along the Sea of Japan.
